Interface Design Project

Question: What is tne Interface Design Project ? Answer : Introduction In this study, ipads scope along with initial assumptions and the requirements for the ipad interface design project is discussed which include overview, outcome, vision, scope, targets, objectives, success criteria, and assumptions. Interface Design project Overview Gift house is a gift shop which specially provides gift items to its customers. Gift house is now entered in the world of online business for their revenue growth through increased market shares and leveraging new sales channels. The online gift house holds the temporary and permanent collection of gift items. Now, the online gift house is planning to provide a multimedia based system which provides information about its products and services, which they are offering to its customers. Therefore, they plan to provide information I-pads to their customers. These I-pads will give information about new gift items and new facilities available at the gift house and the customer can easily search for a specific item likewise. In addition, these I-pads will be assisted for multiple languages as well as users of different age groups.Designing interfaces for the I-pads ought to cover the requirement stated above. This project is designing an appropriate user interface for the I-pads that will s urely attach to the users of the online gift house. Vision Vision is the viewpoint as what new situations will bring to the gift shop. The Gift Shop is focused on supplying better consumer services through their ipads network. To encounter this need, the managers of the gift shop plan to invest in this interface. Ipads pre-loaded with wonderful applications will be appropriate in finding any gift item and finding facility etc. Outcomes Project increased revenues, increased efficiency, and reduced costs for all call centers of Giftshop. Project outcome will be: Designs support multi-language option. Designs of ipads interfaces which includes buttons, slideshows, audio/video visual and hyperlinks (Pemsel Widn, 2011). Scope There is a full scope is to design unique ipads which mean it includes product sales, shipping inquiries, raising orders, payment of orders, orders shipping, invoicing of products. The system interface includes Product Database: Pricing details of gifts for online sales network. Shipping and Customer Database: Shipping status inquiry details and Shipping pursuance and Clients information for the online sales network (Greg Heath, 2017). Objectives, Outputs, and Targets The goal of this project is to plan or design more efficient user interfaces for the ipads.Produce more and more productive outputs in a short period of time. The main target of gift house is to ship online orders to clients homes or businesses nationwide timely. The employees are cross-linked with these ipads to work the sales floor, pick online orders from stores, and deliver them to hub distribution centers. Success Criteria In this project interface, Gift house should establish a department to maintain and define the standard activities. The Success Criteria includes two types of responsibilities which are process and people. The process responsibilities include tracking, managing, and resolving projects issues. And people responsibilities include the procedure to follow the regular procedures and processes for the successful and timely completion of the project (Kardas, 2015). Key Assumptions Ipads will only be utilized for the pre-defined goals only. Interfaces will surely be interactive. Approved funding calculation for completing the entire scope of the work as the cost is not a factor here. The solution framework should be conformable with the Gift house Architecture Blueprint (Lord, 2011). Conclusion This study concludes that the productivity and Internet responsiveness to business initiatives can be leveraged from the proper Interface design process to expand the future productivity of Gift houses online business.
